General information only
The calculators and content on FinanceWithEase are for general information and education only. They are not financial, tax, investment or legal advice, and they don't take your full circumstances into account.
Results are estimates
Results are estimates based on the information you enter and on published rules at the time of the last update. Your actual taxes, payments and returns depend on your full circumstances and can differ.
Each calculator lists its assumptions and what it leaves out, such as other income, itemized deductions or less common credits. Check them before relying on a result.
Pay and tax
Our take-home pay figures cover employment income with standard deductions and allowances. Your payslip may differ because of your tax code or withholding settings, workplace benefits, pension contributions, or how your employer's payroll spreads deductions across the year.
Mortgages, loans and savings
Mortgage and loan results use the rate and terms you enter. A lender's actual offer depends on its own criteria, fees and checks. Savings and retirement projections assume the rate of return you enter holds for the whole period. Real returns change from year to year, and investments can fall as well as rise.
Rules change
Tax rules change every year, and sometimes during the year. We update our calculators for each new tax year and when changes are enacted, as described in our editorial policy, but we may not reflect every change immediately. Upcoming budgets and changes are listed on our key dates page.
Get professional advice
Before making important financial decisions, check with a qualified professional such as a tax adviser, accountant, mortgage broker or financial planner.
